The ladies at the front desk offered very kindly to charge my phone. I'm grateful for that. But the paid ability to DO it conveniently overnight at my leisure was not there.

If you want to rent one of these tents in the park, buyer beware.

The washrooms were clean and well maintained.

    Reasonable campground, but nothing special.

Sites are WAY too small in some cases less than a few feet. The facilities seem lacking for the number of campers. At one point our neighbours were up till one in the morning partying loudly and our small children couldn't sleep. Our backyard would have been better. For the price disappointing

So they know the branches obstruct the panels in specific units, won't do anything about it, but they still advertise the chargers and charge (pun intended) full price for them. Government nightmare.

There are too few water refilling stations for the size of the campground and number of unserviced sites... campers in our section had to drive to get water as it was unreasonable to walk back with a filled jug.

It comes advertised as having a charger but this is a bit of a fib. There is a plug but it doesn't work. When I asked about it, I was told that because it's from solar, it's hit and miss. Not because there is no Sun, but because the panels may be obstructed by branches and we cannot cut from the branches, they said. But the price is not being trimmed either.

This is a beautiful campsite, right on the Cabot trail on the western part the National Park. Great location and well organised. During this my second stay, I rented one of their tent/cabins. They come with a heater --a nice feature for the middle of the fall and space to sit and enjoy.

Overall, nothing exceptional, but definitely servicable as a stop along the trail. The national park reservation system and its associated non-refundable booking fee make the price a bit steep on a 1 night stop, though.

We stayed here for 1 night as we went around the Cabot Trail. The campground is well run and maintained well enough, being part of the National Park. We somehow ended up on a trailer (electrical) site despite having a tent, so it wasn't the most wooded site. Walking around, it seemed that the dedicated tent sites were nicely forested in some areas but very exposed in others, so exercise some caution when reserving.

It's not exactly an interesting campsite in terms of camping (very flat and open) but it made a nice rest stop on the Cabot trail. The washroom closest was pretty clean (3 stalls and 1 shower).

I've stayed in many campgrounds and this was square in the middle for me. Stayed in an otentik and enjoyed that but the tent sites were not as private or as sheltered as they probably could've been. Toilet facilities however were well spaced and typically clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
